This Privacy Policy describes how Refuge & Sword Publishing LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Prep & Provide application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being straightforward about how your data is handled.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the App's features:

• Account information: Your email address and a securely hashed password, used to authenticate you and maintain your account.
• Meal plans: Weekly and custom meal plans you create within the App.
• Recipes: Recipes you save, create, or import into the App.
• Grocery lists: Shopping lists generated from your meal plans or added manually.

We do not collect your name, location, phone number, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage analytics, or any other personal data beyond what is listed above.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to provide and support the App's functionality:

• To authenticate your identity when you log in.
• To store and sync your meal plans, recipes, and grocery lists across sessions and devices.
• To enable Alexa voice integration so you can access your recipes and grocery list hands-free.
• To respond to support requests you initiate with us.

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing profiling, or any automated decision-making.

3. Alexa Integration

Prep & Provide supports Amazon Alexa voice integration via OAuth 2.0 account linking. When you enable the Alexa skill, you will be prompted to link your Prep & Provide account. Upon linking, Alexa receives a secure access token that allows it to read your recipes and grocery list on your behalf.

• Alexa does not receive your email address or password.
• The access token is used only to fulfill voice requests you initiate (e.g., "Alexa, what's on my grocery list?").
• You can unlink your account at any time through the Alexa app, which immediately revokes access.
• Amazon's handling of your data through Alexa is governed by Amazon's Privacy Notice.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their own purposes. Your data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• Alexa integration: As described above, an access token is shared with Amazon when you enable the skill.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and app data for as long as your account remains active. You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the App at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Prep & Provide is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
